Six Weeks – 2 Years Old Kangaroo Class
Each infant is provided an environment filled with warmth and love from our infant teachers. Be assured that as each teacher builds a bond of trust with each baby, daily feedings, diapering, and sleeping needs are met.
A child’s relationships and experiences during the early years greatly influences brain growth. For this reason, our infant teachers stimulate and challenge babies by singing, talking, holding, reading and playing with them. Each child is challenged according to their abilities with age appropriate curriculum.
By exposing them to different movements, such as rolling, touching, stretching, and bouncing, we generate interest and curiosity, promoting each child’s development. As children play on the playground, they learn concepts such as up and down, over and under, and fast and slow. Repeating actions over and over again helps strengthen the connections in the brain that help children master new skills.
Each toddler will participate in a variety of activities such as stories and flash cards, music and movement, art, games, simple finger plays and puppets. Parents benefit greatly and enjoy daily communication with the teachers, including information offered in our daily reports, which include specific details of each child’s day.
