Grand Terrace City Streets
The City of Grand Terrace maintains over 30 miles of streets, sidewalks and curbs. The city is responsible for:

  • Filling potholes
  • Patching roads
  • Road reconstruction
  • Slurry sealing
  • Replacing sidewalks, curbs and gutters
  • Street sign placement and upkeep

If you have a concern with any of the above, please fill out our form at the right If this is an emergency, such as a sinkhole in the street, down tree limb, or any other street blockage, contact the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department at (909) 824-0680 and note the concern. They will page our 24-hour on-call maintenance department to address the situation.

Street Lights
Street lights along the public right-of-ways are owned and operated by Southern California Edison. The City of Grand Terrace pays the monthly cost of the electricity for the lights (about $10 per month per light) and reports any malfunctions to Edison. If you have an issue with a street light:

Traffic Lights
The City owns and operates six traffic lights within the city limits:

  • Michigan and Barton
  • Barton and Canal
  • Mt Vernon and Barton
  • DeBerry and Mt Vernon
  • Preston and Barton
  • Honeyhill and Barton

If there is an intersection out and you cannot reach our office during regular business hours at (909) 824-6621, please contact St. Francis Electric at (844) 544-4888. If you have an issue with the timing or safety of any intersection, please detail your concerns with our online form to the right or contact Public Works Department (909) 824-6621 extension 251.

Please note: the intersection at Barton and the I-215 is operated by CalTrans.
