City Council
The Grand Terrace City Council is the City's legislative body and is responsible for establishing local policies, adopting ordinances and resolutions, approving the City's budget, and providing overall direction for municipal services and programs. The Council consists of an elected Mayor and four Council Members who serve the community and work to promote the health, safety, and welfare of Grand Terrace residents.
Community Participation
The City Council encourages residents to take an active role in local government. Community members are welcome to attend City Council meetings, provide public comment, watch meetings live online, or review agendas and meeting materials through the City's
CivicClerk portal.

Residents wishing to contact the City Council may do so by emailing the City Clerk's Office or by attending a City Council meeting. Correspondence received may be distributed to all members of the City Council in accordance with applicable laws and City procedures.

Meeting Schedule
Regular City Council meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Grand Terrace City Hall. Meeting dates may be adjusted due to holidays, special meetings, or other scheduling considerations. Residents are encouraged to review the posted agenda for the most current meeting information.
