The City of Grand Terrace is Accepting Applications to Fill One Youth Member Vacancy on its Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee

 

 

The City Clerk’s office is accepting applications for one (1) Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member is appointed by the City Council. THE APPLICATION will be forwarded to the appointing authorities at its next regular meeting upon receipt of applications.

 

TERM: One (1) year from the date of appointment.

 

The application period will commence beginning September 1, 2022, and applicants must be a resident of Grand Terrace and high school juniors or seniors. Applications are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.grandterrace-ca.gov.

 

The duties of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member is to uphold the Committee’s mission of reviewing programs pertaining to parklands, park facilities, and recreation programs and working with other youth to provide input on decisions that might impact the use of facilities by youth.

 

Upon receipt of applications from interested parties, applications will be forwarded to the City Council for selection. All interested parties need to provide their applications by hand-delivery, emailed to [email protected], or mailed to the Office of the City Clerk located at City Hall, 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, CA. 92313.
