ELECTION INFORMATION

A General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Grand Terrace on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 to elect three Council Members to a four-year term each. For information regarding the conduct of Municipal Elections, please refer to the California Elections Code. The nomination period to pull papers was held between July 13, 2020 and August 7, 2020 and is now closed.

The At-Large Official Candidate List is as follows:

The City of Grand Terrace has been designated as an Official Ballot Drop Off location. The Official Ballot Drop Box is located at City Hall, on the west side of the building by the San Bernardino County Library entrance. On October 6, 2020, the Official Ballot Drop Box was unlocked and is now available to accept mail-in ballots.

The County has teams that cover Regions of the County of San Bernardino and the County will have a schedule where each team periodically retrieves and inspects the Ballot Drop Box as follows:

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters has developed a new application called My Elections Gateway that will provide registered voters in San Bernardino County access to personalized election information such as voter registration status, polling place locations, mail ballot status and mail ballot tracking. The mail ballot tracking feature allows you to sign into the Elections Gateway to track when you will receive your mail-in ballot, when your ballot was picked up by the County Registrar of Voters, and when your ballot was officially scanned and counted. You can also track when your ballot is mailed, received and counted through the Secretary of State's Where's My Ballot tracking system. You can sign up to receive notifications about the status of your ballot via email, text message, and/or telephone ca..

Voter Registration Information:
Voter registration requirements: U.S. Citizen and 18 years of age on or before election day.
     Individuals may register to vote on-line at https://registertovote.ca.gov
     Voter registration forms are also available at the City Clerk's Office, U.S. Post Offices, public libraries and the DMV.
