Claim Against the City

To file a claim against the city, please review and complete the Claim Against the City Form.
Please include with the claim form any photos, police reports, receipts, invoices, statements, or other evidence that you would like considered with your claim.
The completed form may be submitted in-person or mailed (no electronic claims will be accepted):

No employee of the city may give legal advice to any claimant relating to private claims.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 911.2:

Claims for death, injury to person, or to personal property must be filed no later than six (6) months after the occurrence.

Claimants will be notified in writing of the outcome of the claim request.
