The City of Grand Terrace is Accepting Applications to Fill

Five (5) Vacancies on its Historical & Cultural Activities Committee


The Mayor and City Council invite interested residents to complete an application for five (5) vacancies on the Historical & Cultural Activities Committee. THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION SUBMITTAL IS JULY 9, 2021.

TERM:             Three (3) vacancy will expire on June 30, 2022.

                        Two (2) vacancy will expire on June 30, 2024.

Duties of the Historical and Cultural Activities Committee are to select, identify and suitably preserve the historical records of Grand Terrace, arrange for effective means to display, and preserve historical items, enhance all forms of cultural activities and expression and to actively promote them, and to perform such other tasks as the City Council may refer to the committee.

The application period will open beginning May 14, 2021. Applicants must be 18 years of age and reside within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Terrace. Applications are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.grandterrace-ca.gov.

The deadline for filing the application is July 9, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. in the Office of the City Clerk located at City Hall, 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, CA. Applicants will be interviewed at a regular meeting of the City Council.
